As Sec of Fianna Fail cumann in Ballina will
be supportative of yourplan if it leads to more business in the area I will also encourage
my fellow politicans across the river to support the idea and try and get it through.
Good luck with your test flight. Like Mr healy I live in Ballina and belive this can only benafit the area.
Good luck with the test flights and the venture!
What about the environmental impact on the area? What are you going to give back to the ordinary residents of Mountshannon for the dessimation of their area.
Who is this service for? It isn’t for the tourists but for rich businessmen probably on a junket to the golf course looking to exploit the property market I guess!
Tourists travel by road, and enjoy doing so…after all they can’t get about without a car when they get to East Clare as public transport is virtually non existent.
A seaplane is not the answer!!!!
Typical of a company like this, they are all profit over people and environment.
Where is the evidence that the environment is not affected?
For example. What is the impact of tankering fuel by road to the terminal? Safety etc? You haven’t explained that to the people of Mountshannon have you?
I for one hope the people of Mountshannon do fight this…They are being exploited with empty promises about tourism, so you can line your pockets with even more cash.
THIS IS NOT A SERVICE FOR THE ORDINARY TOURIST OR RESIDENT BUT FOR WEALTHY PROPERTY DEVELOPERS WHO CAN SEE A PROFIT IN THIS AREA. DON’T LET THEM TRY TO FOOL YOU!!!
Thanks for the very enjoyable flight and Best of luck to future developments in mountshannon , This will be a big help to business and tourism in the area .
Great idea. Amazing it wasn’t thought of before. People coming to see the planes landing on water will be a tourist attraction in itself. Best of luck with it. Pity there wasn’t a lake in Cappamore !!
As Chairperson of Tidy Towns And Lake Tourism I heartily approve of Harbour Air. Last year I lobbied the Irish Aviation. Authorities on your behalf.
Perhaps you could include Ballina in your itinerary. Most tourists come to the Lakeside Hotel and a new jetty is being constructed there. I wish you the very best in your project.
