I was pleased to here that someone is setting up a seaplane operation in Ireland. Images of Seaplane operations will be used by Board Failte to advertise Ireland as a destination to visit in the near future. Seaplane operations do not cause any problems to other waterway users. I was flying C172, C206 and C208 seaplanes for over 10 years off the east river in Manhatten, one of the busiest waterway in the world with no problems.

The very best of luck. We have already flown with Loch Lomond Seaplanes, and the experience was terrific. Can’t wait to visit you & fly off water again, hopefully into Foynes, as we have already visited their Flying boat museum, and want to return.

I suggest you look at the actual enviromental impacts from light aircraft operations. From your post its clear that you dont, and your just a busy body who likes to complain.Harbour Flights will happen and has already so get over it!
